Dr. FANG (member, IEEE/ASME/ACM SIGGRAPH) received his Ph.D. from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands (2022) and B.Eng. from Beijing Institute of Technology, China (2016). Before join CUHK he worked as Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Manchester, the United Kingdoms. 

Dr. Fang has published over 30 technical papers in the field of digital manufacturing, computational design, and robotics, earning awards such as the Best Paper Awards at SIGGRAPH Asia 2022/2025 and ASME IDETC-CIE 2023. He now serves on committees for the Symposium on Solid & Physical Modeling (SPM) and ASME CIE Division, and has also served as a guest editor of Materials & Design (2025). 

Research interest: Advanced Manufacturing, Computational Design, Robotics, Geometric Computing, Computer Graphics.
